Meet Dr Howard

Dr. Howard graduated from Texas A&M University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2012 after completing her undergraduate degree there as well. After graduation, she completed a Large Animal and Theriogenology Internship at Mississippi State University, followed by two years in a Large Animal Residency at Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine.

She spent time working at several mixed animal and small animal practices in Texas over the next several years, always working towards practice ownership and building up her own clientele.

In October of 2018, Dr. Howard was hit by a motorcycle when visiting New Orleans. The crash had her in a coma for 11 days, and in all sorts of therapies for months. Fortunately, after six months, she was able to return to work. She eased back in with small animal exclusive work part time to full time and gradually added in some of her favorite large animals. After her accident, she lives her life a little differently. She checked some items off her bucket list, doesn’t sugar coat anything, and when the opportunity to work in Arizona came up, she took it.

Dr. Howard has been in Arizona since January of 2021 and working to serve the large animal clients of the area on her own since June of 2021. While she loves serving her community with low cost pet vaccine clinics, her true passion is preventative and everyday care for food animals and equine lameness. She also specializes in reproduction of all species.
